When I try to start HerdMaster I get an error message that includes the words "...action failed..." and HerdMaster does not start. |

Uninstall and then reinstall HerdMaster and runtime files. |

Background |
| |
HerdMaster is unable to access some of the files it needs in order to run. The most likely cause is installing or uninstalling another program which incorrectly removes, moves, or replaces these files. |

Proceed as follows (note you can print this page by clicking the Print button on your browser) |

Shutdown HerdMaster. |
| |

Download the latest version of HerdMaster from here (you will need your User Name and Login Code).
Important: ensure you download a 'Full' version not an 'Upgrade' version - the Upgrade version will not work for this. |

Uninstall HerdMaster (see here) |
| |

Uninstall the Microsoft Access 2000 Runtime Files (see here) |

Restart your computer |
| |

Install HerdMaster using the file you downloaded (at 2 above) |

Once the installation is complete exit the installation without launching HerdMaster |

Restart your computer |

Start HerdMaster in the usual way |
