Symptom |
| |
When
you attempt to install HerdMaster you experience one or both
of the above errors, and the installation program fails to move
beyond the 'Preparing Setup' screen. Selecting the Cancel button
is ineffective, you have to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete to close the
installation. |

Cause |
| |
A
programme you have previously installed has incorrectly substituted
critical Windows files with incorrect versions. These files
are used by many programs including Windows itself, and the
HerdMaster installation program. |

Fix/Resolution |

You
need to replace these incorrect files with the correct versions.
